A Tribeca loft.

Remodeling work was completed at April, Ashwin and son Ashok’s. Here are some highlights. She, a successful interior designer, and he, an accomplished New York financier.

First, we did some demolition, removed old carpeting, some existing metal shelving, and replaced whole sections of natural wood flooring before completing refinishing work.

Second, we brought in personal details, revived some original furniture pieces (existing woodwork designed especially for the apartment), put in new/modern base moldings after flooring work, and did prep & painting work everywhere.

Third, we updated the kitchen with new lighting, a kitchen island, and decorative shelving. Other areas were also included during the electrical installation phase: April & Ashwin’s bedroom and Ashok’s bedroom.

Finally, April went to work, setting up her family’s new place, bringing in artwork and colorful accents throughout their Tribeca loft.
The result is a harmonious flow and a real sense of moving through different and special areas of their home.
